“Not only was I fortunate enough to have Coach Rienzo help my 2 kids get recruited, I also helped him coach his club team - the Madlax DC Dogs. I had an up close, behind the scenes look at how he operates… how well prepared he is on the practice field, during games, handling recruiting with the college coaches, and teaching the kids how to prepare for the entire process. His ability to identify and understand players’ individual abilities and help them narrow their scope to realistic and attainable options is the key to success in an ultra competitive recruiting environment.

"Matt coached my son's club team for several years during middle school and high school. First, he helped him get into an amazing private high school that was the perfect fit for my son. A few years later he was a huge help navigating the college recruiting process. Matt has relationships with coaches from lacrosse programs across the country big and small. He is very knowledgeable about the lacrosse programs, but he takes it a step further and really helped us pick a school that was a good fit for my son socially and academically. Matt isn't always going to tell you what you want to hear but sometimes young men need that so focus on schools that are realistic options. My son and I were very lucky to have Matt's support and guidance. Highly recommend working with Matt”

Matt’s knowledge of the game is amazing and his ability to showcase a player’s strengths and improve their weaknesses make him one of the best coaches in the game. The same attributes that make him a great coach convey to the recruiting process. His evaluations, honesty, experience, knowledge of the process and commitment to every player he mentors is invaluable to any player looking to play in college. We are extremely grateful for all of Matt’s guidance throughout our son’s recruitment.”

"Matt Rienzo was instrumental in our oldest son landing at his dream school. We were newbies on recruiting and had no idea what to expect. Matt walked us through the process, step by step, day by day, and he kept us calm (mostly) and positive.

For months, Matt was constantly on the phone -- with Jack. with college coaches, with us. He prepared Jack (and his anxious parents) ahead of Sept. 1 and before each recruiting visit. He was our first call after a visit. We had many questions throughout the year -- what to do, what to say, and when to follow up with coaches. Matt had the answers. He was dedicated, organized and absolutely invaluable to our family during the recruiting process."

"I was coached by Coach Rienzo for two years while playing club for DC Dogs 2023, one of the top teams in the country. He has an amazing knowledge of lacrosse and is able coach you to your strengths and also help you work on your weaknesses. His coaching and guidance allowed me to fit right into D1 college lacrosse.

When it came to recruiting, Coach Rienzo was extremely helpful. He was a pivotal link between the college coaches and myself. He helped me narrow down my selection based on his understanding in where I would fit best. His connections and understanding of D1 lacrosse is priceless."

“With our youngest of five being the first and only child to play lacrosse, we were extremely confused during the recruitment process. We reached out to a friend whose son was playing college lacrosse, and he told us to get in touch with Matt Rienzo.

Matt was incredibly helpful, including quickly identifying mistakes we were making, using his expertise and insight as a player and coach.  We believe because of Matt’s guidance  our son originally received several incredible offers.  He eventually reached his goal of playing lacrosse at Brown and is very happy. We endorse Matt to help your child navigate the lacrosse recruitment process. You’ll be as grateful as we are.

We could not have had a better coach and recruiting advisor for our son than Matt Rienzo. His experience as a Division 1 lacrosse coach and recruiter and former player, personal relationships with coaches at the schools we were focused on, and commitment to our son in his recruiting process were invaluable. He mapped out the process and a plan at a very early stage and stuck to it. We are incredibly grateful to Matt for his wise counsel and friendship.”
